Hi Sir/Ma'am, My father has diabetes one week back his sugar level was 400 with ketones positive plus TB, so we have kept him in hospitalization after 2 day his results of retest has showing Ketones - negative Sugar level - 88 today on continuosly checking TB under control Health is okay but weak Situation of diet - Not having food properly My query is now local doctors has did the test of electrolyte test and found that, there is 2.6 instead of 4.0 henceforth doctors has suggested to inject the Potassium in the blood through IV in duration of 24hrs. Please guide me what is best next step do and what is side effects.
