Query about N Fowleri infection mode
I had water in my mouth while brushing my teeth (more of toothpaste and water) when I accidently breathed in and out like in anger over my younger brother. I felt a tingling sensation of toothpaste in my nose but didn't feel pain in nose and also no water came in my nose. I am very scared that can I get N Fowleri infection ? Can N Fowleri go to the sinus and then infect the brain this way? Can N Fowleri also enter the brain through the mouth if water goes to nose from mouth? Or only if water enters from nose only? Most Doctors now are only asking for consultation. If you can't advise for free, please no need to answer this question.
