Its a reoccurence case. My mother had her 4th chemo of cytax 130mg and cysplatin 50mg in which she got reaction (breathlessness and faint for 45mins) with cytax. Dis time infusion of cytax was 1hour only but in previous 3 chemo's that was 2.5-3hours.
I want to know fast infusion can be the reason of reaction to cytax?
And doctor wants to shift us to nabpaclitaxel, should we go for cytax or nabpaclitaxel?
Plz help

Well it's rare to observe hypersensitivity reactions after having no such effects during earlier cycles.. I believe the patient didn't receive enough premedication. I dont find obvious need to change chemo now.
