Pyelonephritis
Hello doc My mother is diabetic hypertensive since 7 to 8 years. Recently she has been facing pain in her upper left abdomen which is very severe . The usg confirmed thY it is possibly pyelonephritis.and she is currently on iv antibiotics .in past she had recurrent uti. So my question is whether is it curable??or are there any recurrent infections in future? Or is there any danger?? What kind of fluids of foods help in healing early??

When Diabetes is there, then anything can happen. So only thing to control most effectively is Diabetes. Accordingly diet is adjusted. Kindly consult with details of history investigations for detailed explanation of treatment plan
