You seem to have a chronic tonsillitis. The collections of food debris within the crypts of the tonsils lead to repeated infections or solidified pus like u mention. If the halitosis problem is severe you may undergo a tonsillectomy to avoid repeated problems or you may try Luke warm water with salt for gargling after every meal which will help wash the debris.
