Puss after Fistulotomy
It's been a week of surgery (fistula in ano+ sentinel tag removal). I can see some thick light yellowish puss around the anus in the morning. I went for check up yesterday and Doc said it's recovering well. I guess wound was cleaned and doc didn't saw the puss but it looks more like the same puss used to come before surgery.

First, my good wishes for your recovery.
1. Pus draining automatically after surgery for fistula is very common, it will heal soon if draining. If pus gets collected inside and not draining, then it is a problem.
2. Minor amount of pus or mucus is Not to be worried about.
3. Continue sitz bath as advised by surgeon.

Visit your surgeon if pus is persistent and increasing.
