Pus in breast

Asked for Female, 35 Years

Hi, since few days, my wife is getting pus in her breast. We have 4.5 years old daughter. She is not pregnant. Her periods are regular. She is staying in Himachal and I am working in Bangalore. So its not possible for her to come personally. I am ready to pay fee but I don't prefer chat. If it is possible to call her personally, it will be great. Then both can communicate in better way. Please let me know.

If it is confirmed that she is having pus then antibiotics should be started at once. Depending in symptoms and conditions other medicationswill be started. If she is diabetic then it will take longer for the wound to heal. How ever i would suggest to get a sonography done to confirm how the puss has formed and location of wound.

Next Steps

consult a general surgeon if the wound is deep and painful. it will require daily dressing then.
