Purple/blackish toe nail
The toenail of the left foot appears purple blackish and has been like that for quite a long time now. Trauma caused due to physical injury to the nail few years back. It has been a little purple since then. The toenail is painful at times when it is enclosed in shoes for a long period of time. It also shows whitish thickening of cuticle under the nail. What could be the reason and diagnosis?
