Pulsing in the Ear and neck pain

Asked for Male, 30 Years

I feel some kind of pulsing sensation in my right ear. Usually happens while i lie down, or move my head after a long seated position. The pulse lasts only for few seconds. I also have pain in the back of the neck, along the shoulders and the trapezius area in the back. what could be the cause for this and whom should i consult on this.

Pulsations in the ear on changing the posture is not really abnormal as there will be hemodynamic variations which occur with sudden shifting of the blood. You may only need to check your blood pressure. Neck and shoulder pain needs to be evaluated by an Orthopedics specialist
