Pulmonary artery hypertension
Sir I am 20 year old male I been diangnosed with mitral valve prolapse and mild mitral regurgitation My dr told me these things only But when i looked at my echo cardiogram its written i have mild pulmonary artery hypertension I dont have a family background of heart or lung disease I dont know what caused it Is it possible to have pulmonary artery hypertension at this age I have normal chamber dimensions But when i did a echo from other hospital It suggests no pulmonary artery hypertension Can anyone help me

Mild Pulmonary hypertension could be present in normal asymptomatic patients also. It is just that on regular echo scans it has to be monitored if it is rising. Just don't bother about it. It has got no relationship with heart disease in family. It does not warrant any treatment.
