  4. Puffy red eyes with mucus. Physician.

Puffy red eyes with mucus
I had red eyes before I slept and when I woke up I had swollen eyes with mucus. Redness has reduced a bit but have irritation. Please see the attached. I had sore throat for the past 2 weeks was given cefpodoxime by the physician.

Hi Redness and discharge might be due to infection and resulting in conjunctivitis.Need to check cornea for any add on keratitis because of viral infections.Consult ophthalmologist for further checkup and start medication as soon as possible
