Pterygium is a fleshy benign growth starting from conjunctiva ,slowly and gradually encroaching on cornea. Please consult an ophthalmogist to rule out other close differentials.
When small it can cause irritation, mild redness and watering. In which case you can apply ocurest eyedrops in left eye 4 times a day for a week and refresh tears eyerops in left eye 4 times a day for a month.
Medicines will not cure pterygium.
It needs to be surgically removed if increasing in size / causing blurry vision / for cosmetic reasons.
