Psychiatric - Schizophrenia
My son is under treatment of schizophrenia for the past 14 years Is there any chances of recovery for such patients as I have been taking to various psychiatric consultants. There is no change is his behavior. He is dull and not doing anything not taking bath; not wearing cloth and sometimes laughing and going out but never comes back.

Schizophrenia is a type of psychosis disorder which is related to brain. It is an incurable disorder but with counseling and proper medication we can manage the person who is suffering from it. He has hallucinations that why he is laughing. In past maybe  something was happened and he didn't cope with the situation. Maybe situation triggered his lay symptoms of schizophrenia but anyway there is no cure for the disorder but with counseling we can manage the daily routine of your son.
