there is not cure for psoriasis.. there is control. Psoriasis is a long-term inflammatory disease and the treatment needs to be continued till the disease is present. Over time; after many years disease activity can self-subside but till it is present the treatment needs to be continued regularly. Also the choice of treatment depends upon the extent of involvement. Treatment involves lotions and creams for localised involvement. However, in widespread involvement there is need for systemic immunosuppressants. Also, whether is there accompanying joint problem as well will guide the choice of treatment . Please consult a qualified certified dermatologist or you can get an online consultation done. I practice in mumbai itself. You can meet me and get it properly assessed if you wish. A direct consultation would always be preferable to an online consultation. Hope this is helpful.

Psoriasis is a chronic disease. Complete cure is not possible. You can keep it in control with medications. A steroid and salicylic acid like halobet - s lotion will help you achieve this. However donot continue this for long period more than 2-3 week without showing dermatologist in person. Also use novale ct shampoo for hair wash.It will help soften scales. Diet rich in omega fatty acids like fish helps in psoriaisis.
Next Steps
Consult nearby dermatologist for proper long term treatment under monitorinh
