Are you talking like a Biochemistry Technician or as a patient ? I don't know why a patient should be interested in finding how to measure proteins in the body, and if you measure proteins in the body  you will straight away know whether you have protein deficiency or not. We do two tests for protein in the urine; for Albuminuria and for microalbuminuria. I have never bothered to write the name of the test.
