Prosthetic aortic valve
I had undergone aortic valve replacement 10 years ago. Am I at higher risk from covid 19. I had a normal echo report.

Not at high risk of catching COVID. But you have slightly higher rusk of complications if you have COCID. Do not worry take all precautions

You are like other normal persons. The incidence of corona in you is not different.But the thromboembolic complications in you will be less if you are on anticoagulation.

Hi. Aortic valve replacement is not a  immuno compromised condition. But better to be stay safe, keep social distancing and use face mask to prevent from infection. As already underwent a cardiac surgery any infection is not good for health.
