Oral hygiene after valve replacement sur
My father got mitral valve replacement 2 months ago doc. advice to keep oral hygiene best... Mu concern is there is flossing but it is very risky and bleeding happen every time... should we avoid it ..he do bruch twice and mouth wash with antiseptic and clean tounge properly... Second thing does mouth ulcer can cause endocarditis..he has problem of it... please guide

Better to avoid flossing. Whenever there is bleeding. There is risk of endocarditis. Mouth ulcers rarely came cause.. so better to do mouth wash with antiseptic until cleared.
