Prostate size BPH 50cc
Hello sir,
My father suffering (Prostate) urine problem since 2 months..
when we met a doctor, he said size of prostate is enlarged to 50cc of normal size. how to decrease size of prostate using medicines..
His PSA reports are normal.. and he age is 76years.. male..
kindly suggest the medicines to decrease the prostate size... or we go for surgery...(but he is not ready for surgery i mean he is mentally not fixed and some stress)

Better to consult a experience urologist. It's not the size of prostate which is important. It is the amount of residual urine in usg for decision of treatment. Nowadays there r good medicines for medical management of prostate problem, if pt doesn't respond to medicines, only then surgery is required.
