Prolonged eye pain and blood in tears
My irritated left eye doesn't seem to get better even after 4 days of medication. I have had this irritation for 6 days. It is red, watery, and discharges a little mucus with no pain. I have visited an eye specialist and she gave me gatifloxacin eyedrops, aciclovir, and Levaquin tablets. On the second day of medication, the swelling around my eye persists and when I wipe the water around my eyes, a bit of blood comes with it. What should I do?

You will probably need oral antibiotics as well. Consult your Ophthalmologist again
