Progesterone tablet effects

Hi am married before 4 months and taking progesterone tablets during last 10 days of my cycle. During that time I have pain near my uterus area and feeling uncomfortable. Bleeding also reduced after taking this tablet. Is this ok ? Will this tablet help me in conceiving soon?

Thank you for your question If you are in pain you need to rule out an infection - your doctor can check your urine for infection and also the cervix. Progesterone doesnt help you conceive on its own. You need to be ovulating for that to happen. Please see s Gynaecologist to help you. You also need to be taking folic acid tablets if you wish to conceive.
