I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing a loss of appetite. It's possible that your medication for anxiety may be contributing to this symptom. Ciplar (propranolol) is a beta-blocker that can cause gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite. Esteem (escitalopram) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that can also cause gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea and loss of appetite.
It's important to speak with your doctor about your symptoms, as they may need to adjust your medication or prescribe an alternative medication to help alleviate your symptoms. In the meantime, you can try some home remedies to help stimulate your appetite. Eating small, frequent meals throughout the day can help. You can also try eating foods that are high in protein and calories, such as nuts, cheese, and lean meats. Drinking fluids such as water, juice, or broth can also help.
It's important to maintain a healthy diet to ensure that you're getting the nutrients your body needs. If your loss of appetite persists or worsens, please seek medical attention to ensure that you receive the appropriate care and treatment for your condition.
