Problem in moving
My brother has problems in moving his parts of body. It started with he waking up suddenly to realise his legs weren't moving properly and shaking, not allowing to walk properly. Within two days condition worsened and he is unable to stand and use his hands also. While lying flat, he can't move his head but while sitting somehow, he can move his head better. This all has been for last 4 days. Initially he had back pain also. MRI showed nothing. What can be his problem? Is it likely to be ALS?? Is it treatable? Please help

Hi, Such a sudden history is unlikely to be ALS. Neurological examination is mandatory to diagnose in such a situation.
Next Steps
Take him to a neurologist.
