Problem About Sub-Epithelial Infiltrates
Doctor, I Had Keratoconjunctivitis. Due To It, I Had Developed Small White Spots (May Be It Called As Sub-Epithelial Infiltrates) in Cornea. Doctor Prescribed Me To Use "Hylo Gel" For Without Any Time Limit. After Using The Drop 5-7 Months Continuously And Then Discountinue The Drop And Re-Start This Again After 2-3 Months, I Went A Eye Doctor And He Told Me That Most Of The Spots Are Faint. Doctor Also Told Me To Use The Same Drop And He Also Told Me That The Spots Will Go Away But It Will Take Time. However, I Had Posted A Query About This in Practo And Practo's Doctor Told Me That The Sub-Epithelial Infiltrates Can Leave With Scar. Now, My Query is: 1) What Does It Means That The Sub-Epithelial Infiltrates Can Leaves Scar? Is It Meaning That The Sub-Epithelial Infiltrates Cause New Permanent Scarring in Cornea? Pls, Describe Briefly. 2) Whats Needs To Be Done To Prevent This Sub-Epithelial Infiltrates From Scarring My Cornea?  Please Ans This Questions And I Will Be Grateful To You.
