Pregnancy related query
My wife is 16 weeks pregnant. Since this morning, she has been experiencing mild heaviness and a pulling sensation in the lower vaginal area. Could you please advise what we should do? Is this something normal during pregnancy, or should we consult a doctor immediately?

Please consult a Gynaecologist in your area for a physical examination and further management. There is a possibility of threatened abortion. But treatment can be started after making a diagnosis.

Mild heaviness/pulling at 16 weeks can be normal due to ligament stretching. If no pain, bleeding, or discharge → usually normal, rest advised If pain increases / bleeding / pressure feeling → consult doctor immediately Get a scan done for cervical length and avoid heavy work.
Next Steps
Consult me online for better understanding.
