PREGNANCY RELATED
Hi, My wife is 8 weeks pregnant. Her doctor advised her to take both Folic Acid & Iron tablets only after 3 months of pregnancy, not before that. But I've heard from an another doctor that Folic Acid should be taken from the 1st day of pregnancy. I'm confused. Which one is correct? Please help.

Folic acid can be taken from the beginning. Iron is advised after 3 months as it can cause gastric irritation contributing to nausea and vomiting early in pregnancy.
