She can travel by train. She needs to drink enough fluids and avoid a sedentary posture for a long period. She needs to get up walk around every two hours or so, to prevent clots forming in her leg veins, which can be a problem in pregnancy. It is common to feel nausea in the first three - four months, and the iron she is taking, is likely to make her feel more nauseous. She can stop the iron and restart after five months, if feeling very nauseous. She should continue with folic acid. She should eat plenty of vegetables, fish and fruits, if able to tolerate these, along with plenty of fluids. She could try a health drink for pregnancy, which is available in any medicine shop. She could have any multivitamin, which has vitamin D, and which does not have vitamin A. Please see a gynaecologist for a list of tests that need to be done.
