Hello, I can understand all of this is overwhelming. Since your doctor has physically examined you and know your history she/he will be a better judge of the situation. Psoriasis is known to increase during stress, both physical and emotional.
Next Steps
Talk to your doctor about the sinus infection and get it treated. Try to be aware of the fact that this is something you are facing and this shall pass too.

A short course of prednisone could be helpful. As long as no intolerance or allergy to prednisolone, it should be tried
