I will be travelling with my 1 year old to the U.S. on the 8th (in 3 days). She has had a cold with mild fever and runny nose for two days. She will still have a cold on the day of the flight. I am worried that she might get ear infection due to the cold and it will be the worst 24 hr flight because of this.
Do doctors ever give antibiotics to baby before a flight as a precautionary measure, just so that she doesn't get infection in ears?
