Pre term baby Hernia
Hi. My son is 6 days old and born at 35 weeks. Today while general checkup some swelling found near scotrum area. Dr suspect it to be hernia. Extremely worried for my son. Is hernia serious? Can it be cured without need of surgery?

Since ur baby is born preterm that can just be undescended testis.
Next Steps
confirm hernia first by USG.
