Postcovid complications diabetic patient
My father was admitted in a hospital earlier due to covid,he is diabetes and bp patient, his chest ct value was 22/25 at that time, he was constantly on the oxygen support and was maintaing oxygen 96 at approx 5 litres ...but can not remove oxygen for a while...why oxygen drops so quickly when not on oxygen support.his oxygen drops to approx 50 within few minutes.what is the reason behind this.

Almost 90 percent lung involvement due to covid, may require some time to recover, continue oxygen support and other medications regularly
