My father got Covid +ve 40 days back.. Still his spo2 levels are fluctuating between 88 to 92..so he is on oxygen therapy at home with 1-2L..he had severe cough.. Unable to talk.. Yesterday we done scan.. Can you please go through scan.. How is his lung condition.. Is it severe.. & yesterday he got fever also.. Is it common

Hello there are age related changes in x-ray apart from covid he takes time to improve his saturation ..be cautious if high grade fever uncontrolled cough saturation dropping even on O2 get a consultation done

It is common to have mild cough after covid infection. If it is severe enough to make him unable to speak, it is abnormal. He will need to run few blood tests and some medicines.
