Post covid Lung involment 30-40℅
My father tested covid positive on 05-May-21, and recoverd from covid and yesterday we took CT scan and found 30-40℅ lung involvement. Currently he is feeling short breath Without O2 support his Spo2 level is 89 He is in home care in O2 support of 2 LTRS Currently he is in low steroid medication of 8mg from far relative doctor, as per his advice home treatment is enough for 30-40℅ damage. Please guide us whether hospitalisation is required or home medication is enough

Can be treated at home itself. Most post covid pulmonary changes resolve completely with optimal home medication. Please make sure you are treated by a pulmonologist.
