Hi,
My grandmother started showing symptoms of COVID on 25th Oct. She was admitted to the hospital on 29th Oct when her condition did not improve. Post hospitalization, she tested positive for COVID and remained in ICU for 2 days. When her condition improved, she was shifted to COVID ward. She had lung infection, was spitting a lot of mucus, had fever around 100.5 F. After being shifted to ward, she was treated for above symptoms and was discharged on 11th Nov after her test was negative and lungs were clear. During this period, she was given two remdesivir injections. Post discharge, she has been feeling quite weak, is not able to walk at all and is only walking with the help of others. Till 3rd Dec she was fine however, yesterday evening, her temperature was 103 F, she complained of breathing difficulty and chest pain. What should be the next step? She is fine now after being given Dolo. Oxygen levels are normal. There has been no outside contact since we are in containment zone.
