Post covid care
I was diagnosed with covid 19 on 25th March with initial symptoms starting 2-3 days prior to this. I was isolated at home and received oral dose of Favipiravir , medrol 32 mg tappered over two weeks and multivitamins. My hrct on The 8th day was 10/25 and showed grounded glass opacity. I was also given budecort for a 2 week period. My covid negative report came on the 8th April and post that i have not had any cough , fever or fatigue. However on the 25th April i had an episode of palpitation , felt a thud sound over a period of 3-4 hours. I got immediately an ecg done and followed it with cardiac markers like troponin I and II along with an echo. All of which were normal. I was prescribed metoprol 50xl for a month. My crp was also higher at 30 but i wasnt given anything and asked to check again after 1 month. I wanted to know if i should be taking something to lower the crp rather than waiting. Also , a lot of people i know have been prescribed anti coagulants . Is that helpful
