Possible head rabies exposure
A dog stepped on my foot. There was a small dot, and I got rabipur without hrig 3hrs later. But I also touched the wound and my foot an hour after I got the wound without washing it because I did not know where I got it from, and promptly touched a dandruff wound on top of my head, and realised afterwards that I should not have touched my head. Will I contract rabies from the head wound? Please give an answer asap I'm getting anxious and scared.

No need to worry about it,as you have already taken vaccine dose..and there is less chance of transferring infection just by touching body parts..do not panic.

It is highly unlikely that you will contract rabies from the head wound in the scenario you described. Rabies is typically transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal, and it is unlikely that the dog's saliva would have come into contact with your head wound. However, it is important to seek medical attention if you are concerned about the possibility of rabies. Your healthcare provider can evaluate your risk of infection and may recommend additional treatment or monitoring if necessary. In the future, it is important to wash any wounds thoroughly with soap and water as soon as possible after they occur, and to seek medical attention if you are bitten or scratched by an animal. This can help to reduce the risk of infection and ensure that any necessary treatment is provided promptly.
