Possible diabetic complication young age
26 year old w/ type-1 diabetes and concerned about worsening complications in the past 2-3 years. 1. Began having erectile dysfunction at age 23. No longer wake up with morning erections 2. Have intermittent chest pain 3. Have fast or irregular heart rates 4. Hands and feet are always cold. SOMETIMES have a tingling sensation on the tips of fingers 5. Have facial numbness on facial cheek near the right side of my lips 6. Worsening memory Should I see a cardiologist? Needed tests do I need?

According to me, the first thing that you should do is meet your diabetologist and achieve a better control of your blood sugar levels. These complications are mostly due to uncontrolled /rapidly fluctuating sugars so those need to be sorted first.
