Possibility of pregnancy
Is there a chance of pregnancy if the semen only touches the vulva. There was no penetrative sexual intercourse however the ejaculated semen touched the thighs and surrounding area of the vagina but not very near to it. The area was wiped with a dry towel immediately however I'm not sure if it touched the vulva or not. The vulva was wiped and the surrounding area was cleaned a bit too with a hand shower. What should be done in this case? Is an ipill necessary? If yes how bad are the side effects. Menstrual delay pills have been taken before, will the side effects be similar?

You didn't mention the date of your last period. Most of the times women don't know where all semen fell. So it should be presumed that pregnancy can be a possibility if the time of intercourse was during Fertile window. Emergency contraception is useful only if it is taken within 72 hours of intercourse.  For side effects of emergency contraception please consult with a Gynaecologist on Practo. You can discuss all aspects of emergency contraception.
