PCOD and PCOS are same......its a metabolic disorder characterised by inability of body to utilise glucose leading to a state where sugars are high in blood and so is insulin levels.....this causes excess fat gain and hormone imbalance... It is NOT to be diagnosed by just sonography but by blood tests. If your weight is ok...menses are ok..then probably just keep weight in check...and dont worry. The pimples could be managed by some simple meds or hormone tablets. Consult a gynec or skin specialist or a endocrinologist who can help you for pcod....pimples and thyroid problem
