Due to period issue Doctor suggested me to do scan showing polycystic ovaries can you suggest what's actual problem

Poly cystic disease is due to hormonal imbalance.There is imbalance in between LH and FSH hormones.Due to that no proper increment of single follicle and no rupture and no pregnancy.
