Pleursiy Tuberculosis
Im suffering from pleurisy tuberculosis and on DOTS since last 3 months. Yesterday i have done USG Thorax to check improvement which is mentioned below "48*24 mm sized area of organized loculated pleural effusion with thick septa and pleural thickening noted at right costophrenic angle" Is there any improvement in my report or something serious? Im still having mild fever of 99.3.

Loculated pleural effusion usually doesn't subside spontaneously. USG guided thoracentesis may be repeated if necessary to hasten recovery.meticulously adhere to the ATdrug regime as per recommendations till cure. Fever might take some time to normalize.
