Please suggest which antibiotic
Dear team, Can you please suggest which antibiotic works good to treat staphylococcus aureus bacteria. MONOCEF O or TAXIM O. This is for my 3 year old kid, she got an abscess on her hip due to staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Thanks

Monocef contains Cefpodoxime and Taxim contains Cefixime , both of them  belong to cephalosporin group of antibiotics  and are effective against staph aureus , it will be ideal if you consult an Dermatologist  may be online since much more needs to be done along with oral Antibiotics  to cure the child
