First of all you have not mentioned in which tooth particularly you are having pain. The intensity and severity you also have not mentioned.So it’s little bit difficult to say.

As per your x ray the x ray is not in correct angulation.still though there may be proximal caries to the first molar.(not sure as the x ray is not proper)
