Please help..
I stumbled on this ask a question on practo.. want some help if anyone can guide me.. I have been a victim of cyber crime for 2 yrs. I was completely devastated when I approached police, they were of no help rather they interrogated and harrased me more. During this period i  didn't get any emotional support from anyone. I tried standing strong but I couldn't. I am going in a difficult marriage also. I feel lost, hopeless and i give up with each passing day. I am completely broken. I have trust issues also..I  can't trust on anyone now because I feel no one would ever understand me. I'll be more and more devatated..I may not survive it... What can I do

Hi, For these kind of harassment/crime, you need to contact a lawyer... Try to find a reliable lawyer to help you and make file case and keep all these issues with police to her/him. I can understand your feelings and am so sorry to hear about it but if you want to reach any conclusion, you need to find a lawyer to follow up your case. After giving a lawyer all the case, most probably you will feel better, and after that you need to work on you self-esteem. Believe yourself as a wonderful woman who tried her best to find a solution and appreciate your work as you did... If you want to have better feeling, please consult with a psychologist/therapist.they can help you for having peace again. Do take care please.

Plz make it part of your lifestyles. Sit in a quiet and comfortable place. Put one of your hands on your chest and the other on your stomach. Your stomach should move more than your chest when you breathe in deeply. Take a slow and regular breath in through your nose. Watch and sense your hands as you breathe in. The hand on your chest should remain still while the hand on your stomach will move slightly. Breathe out through your mouth slowly. Repeat this process at least 10 times or until you begin to feel your anxiety lessen.

Hi... You can seek professional help of a therapist to help you get over this difficult phase in your life. Weekly Counselling sessions help people deal with their issues in a much better way. Therapy works latently to recover, mold, rewire clients psyche in a manner that help them better adjust in their environment and make better choices for themselves. It also helps changing this negative perception of self and the world around. We are living in a difficult world but our perception creates our reality. We need to keep it correct and more positive, as keeping a negative also doesn't helps anyway. About the cyber crime you faced, please contact the nearest cyber cell of Delhi police. Normal police stations may not be able to respond appropriately. You can also reach out to SSP/Commissioner of Police Cyber Crime of Delhi Police via email if in case Cyber Cell is not responding. Online reporting mechanism is also available, search 'cyber crime Delhi police'.
