Please guide me.
Have ABPA and was using Budesonide regularly. Recently, I suddenly stopped it because I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t know what else to do. Now I’m worried — can this make my ABPA worse? Will the fungal infection multiply or my IgE levels go higher? I had no idea stopping it suddenly could be risky. Please guide me.

You are not being treated for ABPA, although your abpa might be controlled if your pulmonologist has not given you anti fungals or steroids. Inhalational steroids(budesonide) are treatments given for asthma. And if stopped your asthma symptoms may increase and you may be at higher risk of flare up of asthma as well as ABPA.

1st of all just having inhalation budesonide is not the treatment of abpa..kindly connect with all your documents to check whether you need additional meds too for abpa as an improper treatment can definitely aggravate your case

I want to know what made you stop that budesonide inhalation? Usually, budesonide role is to suppress or reduce allergy related inflammation, so no need to stop it.
Next Steps
Better to consult chest physician or pulmonolgist in your nearby vicinity for estimating the clinical condition and prompt tests or investigations accordingly
Health Tips
Stopping ICS therapy like budesonide will aggravate allergy related inflammation in airways, thereby increasing mucus retention and leading to సెకండ్ infections later

Stopping budesonide suddenly won’t worsen ur ABPA but might increase your symptoms.. it helps u to keep your symptoms under control… Fungal infection multiplication n Ige levels won’t alone depend on budesonide stoppage .. its multifactorial.. we need to assess
