Platlet count not increas
Hi.
My dad was having fever form few days and after having some checkup got to know TLC got increased 13900 now and having blood sugur as well which is 232 (previusly was 321, its first time). I am worried my dad's platlet count increased from 32k to 60k from last three days. He is already hospitalized. Main thing is he is not having any fever, any fatigue, or pain in body. But platelet is not improving. Please suggest. Medicine he is taking Melmet sr 500, caripil,folvite,gramocef s injection,sumol(paracetamol)

You have to wait as all other symptoms are under control. It may take some time for platelets to recover. You investigations suggest some bacterial infection as TLC is high. You are getting right treatment. He will recover soon.
