Plaster of Paris cast

Hi doctor, yesterday I got my plaster of Paris cast on hand. What should I do to reduce itching under the cast and how can I protect my cast from becoming wet.

Hello Practo User, Itching is bound to be there as you will not be able to wash your hand like before everyday. It will slowly come down as time passes. Avoid hot and humid places. You can cover the cast with a plastic sheet to prevent it from getting wet. Regards.
