Hi all. Today during anamoly scan my wife was told low lying placenta lying near the internal os(placenta previa). Wat s this? This is her 20th week. Is there any chances for baby? How serious is this? Pls describe wat and all she can do in her home?in case if vaginal bleeding comes does it means miscarriage?

Don’t worry it’s only low lying and not covering OS.As pregnancy grows ,in most cases placenta will move upwards .There might be slight spotting in low lying placenta.
