I have a Pink eye from Friday. I went to an ophthalmologist and had been suggested Moxicip cream, vigamox drops and Ceftum 500 MG. Also pain killer Diclomol.
Moxicip has made my eye to swell and went to ophthalmologist again and have stopped the Moxicip. Right now eye is painful and the Swelling is going very slowly and the eye is hot and Painful.
I am more concerned about the pain and Swelling. I have just started cold compress but need some suggestions on a better painkiller or any other medicines which helps in speeding up the process.
Discharge is there, also very less crusting. Does it take so many days to cure a Pink eye?
Please suggest some options as pain is increasing and I need a quick relief.

Hello
In severe conjunctivitis, you may need soft steroid like fluorometholone in addition to antibiotic and lubricating eyedrop
It may take 10-14 days for full recovery
