Juice are less preferred to children especially below 5 years Puree or paste form food is more preferred Prefer pulpy fruits like papaya, banana, chickoo, mango Pineapple has bromelain which can increase reflux episodes. Also it is a fibrous fruit so so difficult to make a puree and also has choking hazards due to it Babies between 9 and 12 months old may graduate to strained and mashed fruits.
