Hi
Yes, pineapple is not allowed in the early stages of pregnancy and later on..they say..
And other fruits such as papaya, grapes along with pineapple are too not allowed..in the early stages and during pregnancy..
An enzyme called BROMELAIN present in pineapple may breakdown protein when consumed in pregnancy leading to any abnormal bleeding thus leading unusual contractions and early labor..
Next Steps
kindly consult with doctor on consuming pineapple in normal amounts in early stages of pregnancy..for further clarification ..
